More possibilities. Less guesswork.
Technology needs people who build, investigate, organise, design and help others. We’re here to make those possibilities easier to understand.
Guidance you can question
Find Your Tech Path is a starting point for exploration. It is not a psychological assessment, professional diagnosis or prediction of career success. Your interests can change, and a field is much broader than any single role.
How recommendations work
Your choices add weights to interests such as systems, creativity, communication and research. Each field has its own profile. We compare the two using a normalised weighted score and show the three highest results, with the answers that contributed most.
The same answers always produce the same result. Ties are resolved by a stable field identifier. We use “Strong match”, “Worth exploring” and “Alternative path” rather than compatibility percentages.
Uncertainty is welcome. “Not sure”, enjoyment and remote-work preferences do not bias the ranking. Remote availability depends on the employer and role. Experience mainly provides context; it does not disqualify you from a field. A preference for avoiding coding reduces the score of coding-heavy fields, but does not exclude them.
Explore first. Commit later.
Our roadmaps suggest small, practical activities to help you understand the work before investing in training. Qualifications and certifications are possible learning routes. They do not guarantee employment. Role requirements, entry opportunities and working conditions vary.
Your answers stay with you
There are no accounts or databases for your answers. Answers, comparison choices and feedback are stored in your browser on this device. Restarting the questionnaire clears its answers and saved result. Browser settings can also clear all site data.
Shared links include only selected career fields, never your questionnaire responses. Local feedback is a personal reflection and is not submitted to a team.
Browser monitoring
When monitoring is enabled, we use Microsoft Azure Application Insights to receive page views, page-load performance and browser errors, along with technical browser and device information. This helps us find and fix problems. Monitoring does not use cookies or persistent browser storage. We do not send questionnaire answers or feedback, and page addresses are recorded without query strings or fragments.
Made to be usable
Keyboard navigation, labelled controls, visible focus states and reduced-motion support are part of the design. All career-map links are also available in the field directory.
